Some more inspiration from proponents of Non-Duality. They point to the cosmic consciousness in which our apparent lives and everything else are embedded. It is the one thing appearing as the many, in order to realize its true nature: non-dual aliveness. Or as a suprsingly widespread view among physicists would call it: panpsychism.
